This school year, DPS opened River's Edge Montessoi School and Fairview PreK-8 School and will later open the new Belmont High School and Wright Brothers PreK-8 School.

To date, 24 of 26 schools have been built and occupied. The district, in the final segment of its $627 million school construction program, is providing teachers and students with new facilities and state-of-the-art technology to prepare for success in a global economy.
